SPORTS

I have almost two years of experience working in Sports Media, in the graphics section of live broadcasting as well as in-game content creation. Below are a few examples of my work.

In-Game Content

I was chosen to work on an exclusive team of the top students at Baylor Vision, in order to create in-game media from scratch. I edited these videos myself in Adobe Premiere Pro, searching through the content we captured at each year's shoot, extracting the best clips, and assembling them with as much creative freedom as I wanted. I color corrected each video according to the standards of Baylor Athletics, adjusted and fine-tuned the audio, added the appropriate music, and more. I would then pitch the video to my boss, and once it was approved, it would play at the respective Baylor game. These are just a few examples of the work I've done.

BROADCASTING

I have extensive experience in the field of Live Broadcasting, as I have worked several positions in the control room and on the field throughout my time at Baylor Vision. You can see examples of highlight reels of the broadcasts I worked on below, as well as a full broadcast.

The Graphics Row

The first position I ever worked was Baseball scorebug, which was the most difficult position in the room, and it went so well that Scorebug has been my primary position ever since. This position entails keeping track of every action in the game and updating nearly every element that appears on-screen.

I asked to move down the Graphics row to work Xpression, the software we used for all on-screen graphics. Working Xpression for the game meant that I was responsible for creating and assembling the sequence of full-screen graphics that would play during the open. Then, in-game I would be constantly checking Stat Broadcast and creating relevant graphics in the moment, sometimes having to make a graphic in minutes so it could be used in the game.

Both graphics positions were high-stakes and stressful, because it was live television. But these positions taught me to be quick on my feet, to take responsibility for my work, and to respond well in high-pressure environments.

Other Positions

I was able to work many other positions as well, including Assistant Director, Camera, Show Control, Pro Presenter, ANC, Shade, Grip, and more. Each of these positions required me to learn quickly and respond well to feedback.
